What is airline cut dry ice?

Airline cut is dry ice in flat, uniform tiles sized to sit in airline catering carts and galley drawers. Every piece is the same size, so a kitchen can load carts the same way every time and the cooling spreads evenly. The exact thickness depends on the cart system, so we confirm it with each caterer before the first run.

When can I order airline cut?

Airline cut is coming soon and is not on sale online yet. Flight kitchens and caterers can tell us their cart system, the volume and the schedule through the quote form now, and we will set up the first run with them when it starts. Our plant in Delta is about 25 minutes from YVR outside rush hour.

Questions about airline cut

Who uses airline cut dry ice?

Flight kitchens and airline caterers, mostly. The tiles keep meals and drinks cold in carts and drawers through boarding and the flight. Premium caterers off the airport use the same format for chilled service, because uniform tiles are quick to load and the cooling is even across a cart.

Is airline cut on sale now?

Not yet. Airline cut is coming soon. Tell us your cart system, the volume and how often you need it through the quote form, and we will come back to you when production starts. 3 mm pellets, 16 mm nuggets and 5 lb slices are on sale online today, for pickup at our plant in Delta or delivery to your address.
